Get With the Drill
Many people shy away from bootcamp, because they think it may be too confrontational or in-your-face. Not so.
Bootcamp for Health is about exercise and teamwork. We bring out the best in each other by working out together and sweating together. You form a sense of camaraderie that you rarely feel in other fitness classes, not to mention everyday life. You become accountable to your team. You help them keep going, and they help you achieve more than you think you can.
In bootcamp, the workouts are drills. Our non-stop exercises pump your whole body—unlike machine weights or other workout classes. Since you workout with a group at a fast pace, there's no time to get bored. And because the sessions are only an hour, boot camp fits into even the busiest schedule.
Exercises include power walking, jogging, running, sprinting, pushups, jumping jacks, crunches, modified pullups, situps, dips, squats, lunges, and other exercises. We use exercise bands and medicine balls, which are effective in building strength and endurance. You get a full-body workout. The intensity is the main difference—and you'll see results faster than through personal fitness training! You will receive mini-lectures in kinesiology and sport nutrition once a week so you know why, how, and when to exercise and feed your body! If you combine daily nutritional and exercise accountability, you will see lifelong significant change!
The Take It Easy bootcamp are geared for you if you have never exercised or moved your body in quite awhile. Nordic power walking and moderate-level exercises are exciting ways you can stay fit! Try it, you will love it!
